FIFA’s 2026 Mens World Cup has a hold on Vancouver, and it is an amazing time to be a soccer fan in Canada. This is the first time Canada is hosting the high-profile men’s games and the excitement has been very real. Canada’s team has made us proud and held their own on the global stage. Ultimately, they have earned widespread admiration and some well-deserved rest. As the tournament continues, many of us will cheer on other nations. Each country will surely bring that same pride to their people.

FIFA for all

You may have managed to score one or two of the coveted game tickets, or maybe you’ve been watching at bars and streaming on your couch. Or maybe you’re just doing your best to get where you’re going on time while navigating a sea of new faces in your city. No matter the case, FIFA’s arrival in Vancouver demands participation and offers certain unique fashion opportunities.

There is something about a major sporting event that absolves us of all of certain, perhaps, unconventional fashion choices. Choices that might otherwise be considered tacky, a little too on-the-nose, or even just plain bad.
